Designed for hazardous environments, Eurochain VX Ex zone 1, 2 & 21 is an Ex-proof hoist complying with ATEX requirements for gas and zones dust areas, supporting safer lifting operations where explosive atmospheres may occur. This compact hoist is available in three key configurations: a fixed hoist suspended, a hoist on a push-travel monorail trolley, and a hoist on an electrically driven monorail trolley. Its suspension lug with a large opening simplifies installation and optimizes lifting height, while its reduced dimensions allow improved hook approach. Compatible with existing trolleys, this range ensures easy integration into both new and existing installations.

Notified body certification is provided for the complete equipment, and, built-in inverter travelling comes as standard, delivering smoother, more controlled movements and improved operational efficiency. Every critical component is Ex-rated and thoroughly tested to maximize safety where it matters most. Advanced temperature monitoring helps prevent overheating—even if the equipment is used beyond rated values—supporting safe, reliable performance in demanding conditions. Safety is further strengthened by a separated brake torque path from the motor torque path, and a hoisting brake designed for lifetime durability—helping maintain controlled load handling in both T‑class-limited gas atmospheres and dust-sensitive zone 21 operations.
