Condition monitoring

The MT3 and MT4 units are electronic control and condition monitoring devices designed to supervise and protect hoisting and travelling machinery. Their primary role is to continuously monitor operating conditions and help prevent unsafe situations—such as lifting or lowering a load in potentially hazardous circumstances.

In addition to protection functions, MT3 and MT4 also record equipment usage and support maintenance planning by estimating the remaining design working period (DWP) in accordance with FEM and ISO standards. This provides valuable insight into duty history and helps operators and service teams manage lifecycle performance more effectively.

Designed for broad compatibility, MT3 and MT4 can be fitted to a wide range of hoists and drives, and can be used with variable speed control drives as well as two-speed drives. The units combine dedicated crane hardware and software, and their integrated display enables programming, calibration, and easy access to stored values.
