The network of Verlinde partners, including SAV and EUROPONT, comprises 23 members in France who use Verlinde equipment, including hoists, winches, trolleys, jib cranes, crane components, and electronic products.
Verlinde regularly provides training on the assembly and maintenance of its mechanical and electronic products, covering both the most popular ranges in its catalogue and its latest innovations. Typically, these training sessions are spread over the course of a year, with Verlinde ensuring that it visits each partner at least once every three years. The aim of these sessions is to update partners on the new features developed by Verlinde, particularly this year’s ExpertCare communication module. They also ensure that all personnel, including new recruits, receive the appropriate training.
A Nationwide Tour in Support of Its Network
This exceptional year, with health restrictions limiting visits to partner sites, led Verlinde to organise a three-month training tour. A 20 m³ truck, equipped with the latest products and simulators, is travelling across France.
Training workshops are conducted inside the vehicle in compliance with current health regulations. Each training session lasts three days. Participants are required to assemble and maintain equipment in the workshop using a technical guide, under the supervision of two trainers. The trainers also provide additional information and practical advice.
The two trainers have each worked at Verlinde for nearly 30 years. Yves Rafron, who works in Technical Support at Verlinde and spent part of his career in the Engineering Department, explains: "These training sessions are important because they enable valuable exchanges and knowledge sharing between Verlinde and its partners. They strengthen our relationships with our network, some members of which we speak with by phone almost every day." Verlinde is considering extending this programme to partners around the world.
